I help individuals and couples move through relational pain, deepen their relationships, and reconnect with themselves and the people who matter most.
Over the years, I have come to understand that connection grows where we feel seen, heard, and valued. It is shaped by how we see ourselves, the relationships we nurture, the spaces we inhabit, and the experiences we share. Together, these influence our sense of connection to ourselves, to one another, and to the lives we are creating.
WHY CONNECTION
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of sitting with people during some of the most vulnerable parts of their lives.
I have listened as individuals tried to make sense of rejection, disappointment, grief, loneliness, and relationships that no longer felt the way they once did. I have worked with couples who loved one another deeply but struggled to find their way back to each other. And I have watched people who appear capable and accomplished on the outside quietly wrestle with the feeling that something important is missing.
Again and again, I have seen how deeply our relationships shape the way we experience our lives.
They influence how we see ourselves. How we love. How we trust. How we communicate. How we experience home. And whether we feel that we truly belong.
That understanding has shaped not only the way I practice therapy, but the work I am building through Connect wRight.
THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND CONNECT wRIGHT
Connection is certainly about the people in our lives, but I believe it is also about the relationship we have with ourselves, the spaces we inhabit, the experiences that bring us together, and the moments that remind us to slow down and pay attention to what matters.
That is why Connect wRight extends beyond traditional therapy. It is a place where my work as a therapist, facilitator, creator, and lover of beautiful spaces comes together.
Sometimes connection happens during an honest conversation between two people who have struggled to understand one another. Sometimes it happens around a table. Sometimes it happens while writing something you have never said aloud. Sometimes it happens when you enter a space that allows you to finally exhale.
Different experiences. The same underlying need:
To feel more connected to ourselves, to one another, and to the lives we are creating.
THE WORK THAT STARTED IT ALL
My clinical work focuses primarily on adults and couples navigating relational pain, disconnection, rejection, communication difficulties, life transitions, and the patterns that can make it difficult to feel close to ourselves or others.
My approach is thoughtful, relational, and practical. I want therapy to be a place where we can understand not only what is happening, but why it keeps happening and what may need to change.
That often means looking beneath the immediate conflict or symptom to explore attachment, beliefs about ourselves and others, communication patterns, emotional responses, and the experiences that have shaped the way we relate.
My clinical work is informed by evidence based approaches including attachment based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion focused approaches, positive psychology, neuropsychology, and couples work. When desired by the client, faith can also be thoughtfully integrated into the therapeutic process.
The goal is not simply insight. It is helping people begin to relate differently to themselves, to the people they love, and to the life in front of them.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS. SO DOES BEING HUMAN.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, but credentials are only part of what I bring into the room.
I bring curiosity. I ask questions. I pay attention to patterns. I am interested in what is being said and what may be difficult to say. I want to understand not only what is happening in a person’s life or relationship, but what may be underneath it.
My clinical experience has taught me that insight matters, but people also need practical ways to relate differently to themselves, to the people they love, and to the circumstances they are navigating.
I believe people deserve more than simply learning how to tolerate relationships and lives that continually leave them feeling disconnected.
BEYOND THE THERAPY ROOM
Therapy can be transformative, but not every meaningful experience needs to happen in a therapy session.
Some things are discovered when people gather. When they travel. When they create. When they sit around a beautiful table. When they write. When they laugh. When they finally have enough room to breathe.
That realization expanded my work.
Today, alongside therapy, I create experiences that invite people to step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with themselves and others. I am also exploring how the spaces where we live, work, gather, and rest can support a greater sense of wellbeing and connection.
And I create practical tools, journals, cards, prompts, and other resources that help bring meaningful connection into everyday life.
For me, these are not separate interests. They are different expressions of the same work.
Helping people create lives in which connection has somewhere to live.
CONNECTION IN ACTION
One of the ways that belief takes shape in my life is through Angels in Plain Sight, the nonprofit organization I founded to support middle income single mothers and their families.
Many middle income single mothers are carrying enormous responsibility while occupying an often overlooked space. They may earn too much to qualify for traditional assistance while still carrying the financial, emotional, and practical weight of raising a family largely on their own.
Angels in Plain Sight was created to meet some of those needs in thoughtful and tangible ways through support, opportunities for self care, and meaningful family experiences.
The work reflects something I believe deeply: people should not have to be in crisis before someone decides they are worth caring for.
Sometimes connection looks like listening. Sometimes it looks like helping. Sometimes it looks like giving a mother room to rest. And sometimes it looks like creating a memory with her children that reminds the entire family that their lives deserve moments of beauty and joy too.
Whether I am sitting across from someone in therapy, creating an experience, designing a restorative space, or supporting a mother through Angels in Plain Sight, the belief underneath the work is the same: people matter.

Faith. Family. Friendship. Beauty. Meaningful experiences. A welcoming home. A good meal around a table. Travel. Laughter. Rest. And relationships where we can show up as ourselves.
I believe our lives are made richer by the people we share them with and by the environments and experiences that make room for those relationships to deepen.
That belief influences the way I practice therapy, the gatherings I create, the spaces I design, and the products I hope you will bring into your own life.
Connect wRight is ultimately an extension of that belief: a more connected life is possible.
And sometimes creating it begins with something surprisingly small, a conversation, a question, a room, an experience, or simply deciding that the way things have been does not have to be the way they remain.
